National Biodiversity Day falls on the 22nd of May

The gardens are doing something exciting for National Biodiversity Day on the 23nd of May.

We want to have another look at what fauna and flora we can find in the garden and paste it up on the iSpot site again. There is a treasure hunt with clues of something hidden in the garden. There will be a graffiti-wall that we want the kids to paint on... what biodiversity means to them. They must bring their own paint -- Cans of spray-paint or other with brush. They can go ape...legally!

This will be taking place on the 23rd of May (Monday). The biodiversity photography can take place all day till 2:00 pm Treasure hunt from 1:00-2:00 and the Wall painting is on from 3:00 onwards. Entrance for that day is free.

Hope you guys can make it.

This is not a big structured deal and folks can come and paint on the wall if they have biodiversity issues. Even adults!!! Paint has been donated by WESSA. The wall will be a testament to what the folks of George feel about Biodiversity and if its empty...that says a lot.
